She sneered at the woman. Turning on her heel, she stormed out from the room, leaving the house of liars and despoilers of history.

Once she was out of the building, she stormed down, away from that place. Away from every one who attended, and clutched at her heart, before choking back tears.

"I... I won't let them forget you, father. I won't. I can't. I swear it." She whispered to herself, bringing her sleeve up to her face, covering her eyes, wiping the tears of rage, and sadness, that cMe unbidden.

Matsu was always a woman of strong passions, and she couldn't hide them. She didn't want to.

But she wouldn't let the Doji see her tears.

A tense well done moment.

Nothing but drinking and reminiscing with Sora--and telling Kinsen to practice more.

I think I could recognize this player from event posts alone. Because they are always amazing:

Chizu had fought in some skirmishes, but she had never been in command before. Laying out the battlefield on a sand table was new to her, and there were countless toy soldiers and fiddly bits that had to be placed just right. The sheer amount of distractions and complications that the scenario threw her way was nearly overwhelming. There was just too much to deal with! How could anyone make a plan under these conditions?

Finally she chopped one hand down to interrupt one of her babbling “subordinates” and made some executive decisions.

“We form a battle line and march forwards in lockstep, towards the enemy,” the Crab warrior declared, arranging the miniatures into a skirmish line. “That always works. Our guys have better armor and better discipline, so the enemy should break under our pressure.”

Chizu informed the judges of her battle plan. The judges solemnly rolled some dice and consulted the Combat Results Table.

Subject: The Great Snowball War - Frontlines (Event) Day 8 EM

The war wound down...a lot faster then it began. One of the children spotted a fox lurking on the edges and realized the true folly that had befallen them.

Cease fires were called, truces made, and frantic work begun to hide what had happened.

But it was all too late...the fox had seen everything.

The children will no doubt speak of her in horror every snowfall and the Gardeners in awe. A great monument was erected but being made of snow disappeared with the return of Lady Sun!

Gardeners hold their ground with 8 Defend vs 3 Attack Points!
The banner of Rake and Spade stands triumphant on the field. Well at present it lies hidden in one of the supply sheds, biding its time until the next great war!
