Hikaru listened, his pale eyes strange. "I see." He finally said at the conclusion of the story. Another moment, and he turned his gaze skyward once more.
Seconds passed.
He looked back to Ayumu, smiling gently. "I hope we will meet again, Jiyo-san. If you will not speak of your virtue, allow me to speak of your wisdom. I... think I have not the spirit for it right now, but I would hear more of your thoughts on these matters, and others."
He bowed. "For now, I should return inside. Until we meet again."
