General Poll: Number of Thunders

Yeah about the only thing from canon I really hold to is my belief in no Ratling Thunder. Which is not to say no Nezumi involved in the final conflict, there certainly will be, but this isn't their date with destiny - they already had that. They're support staff (and vital ones at that) but this is humanity's time to face the darkness.

That always felt weird to me. Humans got a specific e email to defeat. Nezumi got a meteor (basically) at about the same time. Like how were they supposed to fight that.

I could see an argument for a Nezumi Thunder either way. They get one because they they weren't a destroyed race and have the same claim on the Realm as the humans do. Or they don't get one because they passed it by closing the pit.

Lots of possibilities for Nezumi participation in the jigoku fight without being a thunder.

2nd day of thunder had a big battle going on while the strike team took on Fufu. All sorts of options for Rats.

Whatever it ends up being, I’m sure it’ll be enjoyable!

Maybe I am morbid, but samurai drama to me usually means death all over.

Or at least the kind I find fun.

While it looks like there won't be an Imp thunder (which I'm down with- who was Hantei's Thunder in canon? Shinsei), if there were and Sora got the nod? I would go in PLANNING for him to die.

It's not just samurai drama that needs it- it's also a way to hammer home the gravity of the task.

So put me in the "as few survivors as possible" camp there.

2) One of the things with an adaptive setting is that success is never guaranteed.
