[D8 EE] PLAYER EVENT: Iaijitsu tournament RP

[Hantei Kinsen]

Kinsen begins to assume a serene stance, asking. "I accept we go for first strike. Will you accept my choice of not using weapons?"

[Hisomu Matsu]

She sets the bokken on the rack, moving to the Iai ring. Moving through a warm up kata. The musculature of her arms, her shoulders, her back, all flexing and relaxing as she did so.

"Yes. Waiting on you." She spoke calmly and on the level.

[Hantei Genji]

Genji glanced between the two.

What the ever living fuck.

"This will settle this debate that has little reason to it, right?" He tried to keep his tension together, but otherwise observed. It seemed that there was even more vapor coming off of him now.

[Hantei Kinsen]

She nods to Genji, but maintain eyes at Matsu.

[Togashi Satsuki]

Seeing as Susumu's actions hadn't helped diffuse the situation, and... frankly it seemed to have been just more hurtful to Matsu the way he was belittling her too, Satsuki stepped forward to give the matter an air of authority. Breathing in deeply, she found the bit of power that she had from her father to speak like someone in charge would, giving the matter the formality and respect it needed.

Folding her hands before her, partially enveloped by the sleeves, she spoke with an even voice. At least the two were now in agreement on what they were doing. Similarly to Genji, her robes were slightly open, allowing the tattoo over her collarbone to be seen and it seemed more vibrant as she spoke.

"So the terms are, if Hisomu Matsu wins, Hantei Kinsen must apologise for her words and leave her father Noriaki no Yamadono alone to live his life in peace. If Hantei Kinsen wins, HHisomu Matsu must apologise for her words in calling Hantei Kinsen's honor into question." That seemed to be it?

Susumu lowers his head, shaking it and steps to the side, settling by Genji

"I had hoped to avoid this, but they seem intent on it"

Kinsen wavers her jade-coated sparkling fingernails, and prepares the slap.

Matsu's eyes narrow, as her feet adjust, preparing to charge in with her fists. She blinked.

[Hantei Kinsen]

In a blink, Kinses pounces forward in the same way she did years ago when she defeated the Noraki chieftain, but instead of removing her opponent's head, she simply provides a well deserved slap on Matsu's cheek.

[Hisomu Matsu]

Matsu's face turned with the slap, her stance shifting as she tries to maintain her balance. Her fists clench, considering striking back. But, she relaxes, exhaling. Stretching her neck one way, and then the other.

She bowed to Kinsen, then looked to her.

"I apologize for calling your honor into question, Hantei Kinsen-sama."

[Hantei Kinsen]

“I accept your apologies and hope it suffices any bad blood between us and others that were at your side in this matter. I am honored, and I will allow time to make its course as my dear son so requested. I won’t seek your father out. Long may he live while I am serving our Emperor.”

She bows back and looks at Genji.

[Hisomu Matsu]

"The matter is resolved. We need never speak of this again. There are no bad feelings." There was a sense of relief at Kinsen's words. Her posture relaxed, before making her way to where she had tossed the top of her kimono. As she grabbed it, she looked to Satsuki. Her eyes shone brightly, as she smiled, bowing her head in thanks.

[Togashi Satsuki]

Satsuki breathed a great sigh of relief as the whole matter concluded, and far more peacefully than she had accepted, as she had already been mentally making plans to offer Matsu's father sanctuary in her homelands.

Seeing Matsu's bow, the princess returned it in full, her posture relaxing now that the tenseness was gone.
