Shiba sits on the dais, toward the front to more easily be able to speak to anyone who approaches with business for him. His court hovers near to deal with smaller issues. Tea and snacks are set out as well for people who want to discuss business with one another or simply socialize.

Not far behind him is Gusai, who makes his formal bows to the room and to His Majesty. And he gives a shorter one to Sora, as well, though he does not yet approach the older man.

While he had skipped court yesterday, Zhe knew very well that he must not make an habit of it. The dragon was sitting silently in the back, reviewing what had happened the previous week.

The four temples project is underway...that is quite a relief

Matsu entered shortly after Susumu, her jaw set, and a stoic, calm demeanor seemed to emanate from her.

Satsuki was present as she (almost) always was, dressed down a bit in robes of white and red and her hair partially pulled back in a braided bun that was secured by a fine hairpin of gold.
