[Day 6 - EE] The Play Observation Thread

Satsuki snickered, keeping a brisk pace back to the castle so they wouldn't get too cold. "I've been scolded before - I can relate to that one."

"But, that kind of thinking, I think that's something that will make you into one of the great samurai of our generation, Matsu-san. This is a new age, but I think it will be an age defined by my most honored uncle's Compassion and wish to see us make the world a better place for humanity."

"I pray that we live to that ideal. I... have my struggles. Courtesy, clearly." She laughed again, though her face turned slightly red in embarrassment. Or maybe the cold. "I've boasted that before. Just... I strive to live up to that. So fully, with all my heart. I want to be great, because... it's what pa would want. Were my momma alive..." the colloquialisms of her harsh upbringing, "I'd want to make her proud, too."

The tall warrior realized she was carrying on, and her face went brighter. "I'm sorry, Satsuki-sama. I'm babbling."

She looked at the path ahead of them, smiling. "Our parents are pretty amazing, heroes that will be remembered for a long time. It's... only natural really, that we wish to follow their examples.
