"I hope so, Kakita-san," she replied with a smile.

He smiled softly and bowed, “Then it shall be so.”

She bowed in return. "I wish you luck in your duel tomorrow." She paused. "And don't forget, depending on your priorities... You don't have to win to strike."

"I suppose it is a dishonorable thing to say, but there are bigger things than honor sometimes."

[Kakita]

“A man has only one judge of his honor at the end of the day… Whatever my choice. I promise I won’t forego my own honor. No matter what detractors may say.” He replied with a steely sense of determination in his voice.

“There are greater goods than the self… some duties that require great sacrifice.”
