Sora stood up and peered out into the audience, shading his eyes with an unrolled scroll.

"Maybe some helpful soul can help us find her before it's too late... but is there anyone with a shred of integrity in this miserable swamp?"

Sasori cat continued to walk around the audience as she looked for her partner in crime.

Shiba seemed to be nowhere around.

Hopefully the Lioness would not betray the cat.

Quick thinking was not Akodo Kawauso's strong suit, especially by the end of a long day. But the options before her, mostly all terrible, made her path exquisitely clear in her mind. She was no actor, but she would save the play.

Rising from her seat, the athletic woman bounded to pick up the cat, then placed it on her shoulder as she reached for the furry princess. With a couple of long strides, she was up on one corner of the stage, giving the princess a friendly rub behind one ear while she proclaims, "Haha, my evil plan is near complete! My beautiful hench... person? Cat? Spirit-thing, maybe? Anyway!... Has delivered the princess to my witch-ly clutches! How will the princess's foolish followers find her in time!"

Kawauso mostly substituted volume for actual acting, probably unsettling the animals so close to her, but she felt rather proud of her improvisation.

The not so dead Kinsen, the monk, opens just one eye to see if it was time for her epic return. Since it wasn't time yet, she keeps herself quasi-dead to make others remember of her heroic sacrifice while fighting the invisible monster.
