Snapping back to himself, Gusai whines--loudly--"MY FLUFFY!"

"We must be brave, you are correct scholar friend,
We must see this through till the end," the Magistrate said and then started walking forward.

"Stay close dear Princess fair,
We have no idea what could be in there."

He added bravely, "I just hope we avoid the Vicious Monster that haunts this ruined place,
Lest it find us and eats us whole, starting with our face."

[Jiyo Sora]

"I dunno, in my case that might be an improvement..."

Noticing everyone diverting attention back into the plat itself, the monk Kinsen returns, and she stands. In a sudden display of strength, agility and technique, she stomps the floor in a combative stance to begin her kata, shouting a fierce kiai with a forward punch.

"TEEEEEEEEEEeeehh!"

Then, she bows, saying, "Already dead. The invisible Vicious Monster is."

In a blink, she puts a hand over her forehead, and faints as if dead.

"That you strange but beautiful monk dear," he responded and then added, "Wait did she die, it seems very unclear?"

The scholar poked the prone monk with his toe.

"Oi. You dead?"

She does cringe with disgust as Sora's toe comes near. Besides that, she seems to be playing dead. Yes.

Cat Sasori moves to 'dead' Monk and licks her. "Nya, Nya, Nya" Rise my undead minion! She jump up the woman. "Nya Nya Nya". Evil laughter

"ISN'T THAT PARTLY ALIVE?" asks Gusai.

The partially alive monk can't help but to hold a ticklish giggle as the kitty licks her. Then, she wrinkles her nose as the feline pounces on top of her.

Princess Shu jumps away from the boat and runs towards the loyal magistrate

Swamp Fern- ''Woe assails us! We have been betrayed and now the monk is has been slain by an unseen beast!''

Cat Sasori jumps of the 'Monk' and poked the 'Merchant'. "Nya, Nya purr." Don't be so loud please. She sat next to the merchant perhaps waiting for something.

The cat runs around in circles keeping out of the 'Merchant's' view.
She stopped to look at the audience. "Nya, Nya, Nya" All is according to the plan

"The fortune is there, I see them so clear,
I thought they would be taller, perhaps so when I am near," she continued.

He added to the crowd, "I think that was our goal?
Find the Fortune, or was it a scroll?"

"Tablet, actually. Gonna be heavy. And way harder to re-purpose than the back side of a parchment... hm. Lemme double-check..."

He hunkered down and started going throught he scrolls he'd picked up and discarded earlier.

As the Magistrate is busy the cat decided to continue with her plan on kidnapping the princess. She moved to the 'Princess' and started slowly to pull her away from the group.
