A council of sages and champions who can give input on the running of the Empire and advocate for the needs of the Clans directly while still allowing for the supremacy of the Emperor. No such thing currently exists but this one has a proposed framework for how it could run, to better bring the voices of the many to the running of the Empire.”

Today what I see is the Jyio occupying all positions close to the Emperor, which makes the Wise Emperor prone to take decisions without the full perspective that is needed."

"Presentable, with a keen understanding of proper action. Someone who puts the good of the family and Clan first, will provide me a suitable amount of children and be a model for them in being a proper samurai. They should be cultured and well-educated, I would not be adverse to a bushi as long as they are not a brute only focused on who has the biggest sword or axe. They would strive for excellence; a person of low ambition would be dreadful," she said calmly.

"I do not need accomplishments though, they would help, the potential for such would be what matters. Of good background and breeding, while other Clans may think all have potential, I have seen what they call samurai and found many to be wanting. As much it would be distinguished I would steer clear of the Imperial families for now until certain elements have... retired or passed into honored memory."
