She hadn't had much luck trying to understand what Shinsei and Shiba had been talking about, and Satsuki chalked that up to her needing to learn more and study harder. It wasn't anything she felt bad about.
But once she got to the library, she got distracted from thinking of brushing up on her philosophy and theology, and instead went through the scrolls in search of knowledge about Lord Moon. Maybe she'd find accounts of others who were afflicted with the Moon's curse... or something relating to her vision.

Most of the writings are records of what the Kami had to say of their father. The language is often couched in politeness - aside from Hida's account - but reading between the lines reveals a jealousy of his children and the world, and a strange, growing madness tied to it that eventually drove him to the famous deed of eating his own children.
There are a few records of people with a madness that manifested during the full moon. These records, often retellings of tales from the tribes, range from the generally amusing to the horrific in their actions under the influence. Under the Kami, the records became more vague, but more common. Whether that reflected more of a tendency to create records or the condition becoming more common, it was hard to say. A few rare records from the past 15 years describe a rare scant few people never fully coming out of the lunacy, claiming revelations from it.
