D5LE, Pet the Kitty (Gusai's rooms, Closed!)

[Otomo Gusai]

Gusai accepts the placement of his hand upon her head and strokes her hair gently. He also shifts slightly closer to her, finding the petting easier to do when he does so.

"Many new people to pet you?" he asks, continuing to stroke the hair.

[Bayushi Sasori]

"I get pets all the time by strangers Otomo sama." The girl took a sip of her tea. It was some what natural for her to get pets. "Advantage of being a kitten in Bayushi's court."

[Otomo Gusai]

"Are you his cat, then?" Gusai asks. "I'd hate to cross him."

Daring somewhat, perhaps, he caresses her ear.

[Bayushi Sasori]

"I am his pet, yes." The Bayushi giggled at the ear caress. "That tickles Otomo sama... nya"

[Otomo Gusai]

"He'd not be angry at me for petting you, though, would he?" Gusai asks. "And you do seem to enjoy your ears--" and he reaches up with the other hand to stroke the other ear.

[Bayushi Sasori]

"Is he here?" She looked about. "Nya... why would he angry from petting me?" Sasori giggled. "I hope you find it fun, nya."

[Otomo Gusai]

"One never knows," Gusai replies to the second. "Some people get angry when another pets a kitty they claim."

He runs fingers through Sasori's hair. "And I do rather enjoy making you giggle and smile."

He touches her neck, grazing it with his fingertips.

[Bayushi Sasori]

The girl shook her head. "I believe you say that to all the girls you meet." She took out her fan.

[Otomo Gusai]

"The ones who giggle and smile, yes," he says. "Which isn't all of them, to be fair."

He draws back slightly at the fan.

"Should I be concerned?" he says, eyeing it with his one eye.

[Bayushi Sasori]

"This is my cover, unless you want me to truely become a kitten." She tilted her head quizzically. "Is that what you want?"

[Otomo Gusai]

Gusai sits back, blinking in surprise.

"You're not being metaphorical, are you?" he asks.

[Bayushi Sasori]

"Am I?" Sasori gave the man a wink then smiled. She sipped her tea "That is for me to know and you to find out." She fanned herself coyly.

[Otomo Gusai]

Gusai stops, considers.

"How might I find out?" he asks, somewhat cautiously.

Stories about things and people come to mind.

[Bayushi Sasori]

"Play a game and win..." She smiled. "It will be your game of choice just to give you a slight advantage." She moved closer with a predatory look. "Tell me what is your game."

[Otomo Gusai]

"Ideally, everybody wins the game I like to play," Gusai replies. "Even if it's not, I hope it's a pleasant ending to it, one that encourages playing again.

"But I've not been quite so much a gambling man as many sailors are thought to be."

He considers. "But cho-han is an easy enough thing, if you have dice."

[Bayushi Sasori]

"That is up to you Otomo sama, nya." Sasori sat down like nice little kitten that she is. "Let hope we all enjoy ourselves." She looked from behind her fan. "That means that you don't have a lovely lady in each port you have landed?"

[Otomo Gusai]

"I do not, no," Gusai replies. "Sometimes because I've had to leave in haste, sometimes for other reasons."

As Sasori seats herself, Gusai reaches out to pet her again.

"But then, I've also sailed further than a lot of others, so there've been compensations. Such as this."

[Bayushi Sasori]

Sasori smiled at the pets. "Perhaps you can land in the ports of the Scorpion lands." She giggled. "And have a lovely lady, unlike myself, nya"

[Otomo Gusai]

"Those are quite far inland," Gusai replies as his hands find Sasori's ears again. "Of course, I am happy to push deeply in pursuit of good things.

"But you are far form unlovely, Bayushi-san."

[Bayushi Sasori]

"We may be far from the sea but the river runs and marks one of our boundaries." She shook her head. "I am just a plain girl that needs some pets."
