First entry: Sha Phaley

A dish made a flakey crust of bread stuffed with seasoned meat and cabbage, which is then fashioned into semi-circular or circular shapes and which according to regional variations is either deep fried or pan fried like pot stickers.

Second entry: Tingmo with spiced veggie soup

These steamed breads are made with whole wheat and mixed grains. The Tingmo possesses very nice and light pillowy texture due to the tiny air pockets in its layers which are wonderful as they soak the soupy gravies or soups they are usually served with.

Third entry: Rushan Cheese

The rushan cheese, also known as the cheese fan, is la light cheese stretched and left to dry. Once so it is deep fried and sprinkled with sugar

Fourth Entry: Thenthuk

Made with hand-pulled noodles and a wide variety of vegetables, this soup is a common stable of the dragon lands. Three versions are offered to the diners: vegetarian, chicken or, for those who do not mind red meat, goat.

Fifth entry: The Momo

Another staple of dragon cuisine, these steamed dumplings comes with a variety of stuffing: veggies, chicken, mashed potato and cheese are offered to the guests.

Sixth Entry: Butter tea

Also called churned tea, this infusion is made by boiling pu-erh tea for half a day before getting skimmed and put into a cylinder to get churned along with fresh butter. Salt is sometimes added to taste.

Seventh Entry: The Rubing

Sometimes salted, this cheese made from cow or goat milk is served lightly fried. It is known to retain a fresh milky taste and is popular amongst travelers.

Eighth entry: Cheese fish ball



Coming with a hotpot, the guest just have to put the fish balls in for around 5 to 10 minutes. After one bite, you can see the melting cheese flowing out of the fish ball and the cheese is tasted mildly salted and soft.

Ninth entry: Crab and cheese omelette

Made with fresh crab and fine cream cheese, this dish is sure to be a crowd pleaser

Tenth entry: Mora sandwich

Made with fried dough and veggies, the sandwich either contains tofu or chicken cubes in a thick, sticky sweet sauce.

Eleventh Entry: Fu Yu

This layered fermented tofu is made in a way similar to cheese but without any of the milk! Pure soy!

Twelth entry: Xoi Gac

The Xoi Gac is a symbolic dish because of its unique and vibrant color, a bright red with hints of orange. The color comes from gac, a baby jackfruit. The fruit itself is bitter, so the rice is prepared with coconut milk and sugar, giving the final dish a sweet taste. The color red often represents luck and fortune for most of the population cultures giving this dish even more importance.

Twelfth entry: Skiarni

This favored dessert is simple yet delicious: fresh yogurt sweetened with honey and served with a helping of pistachios

Thirteenth entry: Spicy rice noodles

This dish made up of cold tossed rice noodles are soaked in an exquisite chili oil and covered with coriander

Fourteenth entry: Cabbage surprise

The surprise is how good such a simple dish can taste when made by a great cook like Takurou. The perfectly cooked cabbage is seasoned with ginger cream and chili oil.

Fifteenth entry: Mapo tofu

Mapo tofu is an aromatic and spicy tofu dish named after a restaurant owner who lives in the new northern crab province. Pepper, chilli bean paste and powder give it a wonderful a numbing hotness. To this add the tenderness of the tofu, the aroma of the fermented black beans and minced meat, plus the moisture of the sauce for happy taste buds.

Sixteenth entry: Fried Rice

While popular and fairly common across the northern empire, this version of the dish is most often found in the coastal region now occupied by the Spider clan. This wok-fried rice is particularly scrumptious and includes egg, carrot, green peas, green onion, and shrimp.

Some would say that the bao are fluffy buns that fill you with happiness. They are currently served steamed and containing a variety of fillings like pork, chicken and vegetables.

Eighteenth entry: Sticky rice

It is plain sticky rice...OR IS IT?!

Nineteenth entry: Samsa

These bread buns are traditionally stuffed with marinated lamb, onion, and spices. They are brushed with oil and topped with sprinkled sesame seeds.
