Tsubaki last gained "list" Influence on Day 5. I'd like to think pre-Jigoku skin puppet earnings wouldn't be penalized...

I mean, let's say Sora had gotten eaten by a bear on Day 3... would his tally have been forfeit? Doesn't seem likely.

I know, because Sora's dirt-awful starting Honor is why he gained as much as he did- because being a Forest Killer, the most basic samurai behavior turned up large gains for him.

I have no intention of getting any from the Snowball fight....heck I would argue it should subtract influence!

Agreed, but that seems GM planned.

I am all for consequences that we can control not being dinged for something that was planned or plotted early on outside most player's control. The Crane rep is shit right now, but that should be separate from the points earned since we already see in-game ramifications of that.

I would ask more directly on the Tsubaki thing. Cause from my read it's personal influence? So, the in-setting idea set of her using the influence she's accrued to help Clan goals wouldn't really be possible- cause she can't show up to cash that check.

Not aiming to argue the other way, just pointing out my thought on why it would be good to get a clarification!
