Given that Shiba hit the Crab with a forced relocation to the opposite end of the Empire, I think the amount of iron in his velvet glove has been underestimated by some...

I'd say the cracks really start showing when more of the Kami die or depart. Kinda like in canon.

I do have to wonder if at some point the kolat don't turn to actively screwing with the Lion, Stag, Crane, and maybe Crab on the grounds they don't conform to kolat ideals and the kolat's members don't like Akodo, Hantei, Doji, or Hida.

And yeah...Shiba's potential big flaw might end up being his somewhat lenient hand leading to a less cohesive Rokugan, but that is still something taking shape and who knows what will happen.

The Makime will just be over here, quietly building the support structure for an army. Just in case. (Also regardless of Lion canon reputation for bellicosity...being the clan stuck in the middle means a lot of wars will involve them if for no other reason then the combatants have to cross their land.)

What could happen to Seppun Hill is to make it a sacred site for the entire Empire outside the purview of one clan, thus making it easier to make pilgrimages in the future since there won't be a problem with crossing borders and such then.

By Discord count there are like 4 Lion (including me) and about 3 of everything else, save Spiders of which there are many. And Dragon of which there are many.

Like no joke the Spider sent like half the clan, probably to thank Shiba for OKing the rescue of their kami.
