Didn't know about Sora asking the all the Kami to contribute their philosophies to the library, though that one might be hard to see all of them contribute, I think. Some of them are more secretive, and some might be more "if they want to learn, they can come and learn".

The Empire is not a tree, it might be a forest or more apt, a garden needing guidance. It cannot grow without guidance, it needs to be pruned, it needs to be manicured, and it needs constant care.

A tree analogy might work fine for a village that cares nothing for its neighbors but not for a grand empire.

Well, in Dawn 1, it was just "the Dissenters" (who I think actually got more points from Nanzi[!] than Sora).

In Dawn 2, despite three Masters going on the trip to rescue Fu Leng/Hisomu, nobody really named anything.

Yep. He really hasn't had much cause for the sect duty he randomly rolled into to... do anything.

Of course not!

But he keeps Shiba posted about anything in particular the group gets up to.

Frankly, with Shiba on the throne and the less power-centric ideology of this version of the Kolat, I'm honestly not sure what the hell the group has been up to... Sora's concerns get listened to, his ideas get heard out, Master Jade is perfectly happy with how the Throne is doing things last I checked.

Master Stone/Shinjo Koyama might not be THAT happy, but his focus is effectively gone at this stage in the Empire's history.

Part of the quirks of handing out Master spots based on the old Kolat (but post Clan War reorganization), we have a couple of sects that don't actually have anything to do at this point.


Master Chrysanthemum: In canon, this sect was about monitoring the Imperial City (I think this is where Chaihime ended up). But Sora lives in the Imperial City when he's not traveling and was effectively part of the Imperial household during the childhood of Shiba's kids. So what's to monitor?

Master Cloud: No PC claimed this spot.

Master Coin: No PC claimed this spot. The Scorpion got a jump on all matters mercantile.

Master Dream: No PC claimed this spot, and Kozan/Koyama, Chaihime, Sora, and Jin would all fight against an organization like the canon Dream Sect harder than they would against even the most draconian ideals of the Kami. It might not exist until a few generations from now as more outright hypocrisy crops up within the organization. It might not ever exist.

Master Jade: A sect whose goals are actually very much in line with what the Empire is doing in regards to supernatural threats. Jin claimed this spot.

Master Willow/ Master Lotus: The Lotus sect with its monasteries of assassins is completely alien to Sora's values and ideals, so the Willow Sect is very different. It's still nominally about having killers in the right places, but with Sora having the Emperor's ear, I'm really not sure they've actually killed anyone at all.

Master Roc: Nobody's gone to the Burning Sands yet, so this sect pretty much has no reason to exist. No contact has been made with the Qolat. Maybe Wu can get the job

Master Silk: No PC claimed this spot. Arguably a sect that really should exist, but we have nothing on them.

Master Stone/Master Steel: The Hidden Temple doesn't exist in this setting at this point, so the canon Steel Sect is right out. Kozan/Shinjo Koyama as Master Stone was concerned with protecting the integrity of the old ways. But at this point, with the tribes basically gone, it's debatable what he'd actually be doing.

Master Tiger: No PC claimed this spot. The Tiger's sect's basic purpose is already torpedoed, because Sora told Shiba everything.
