Can Imperial characters actually host events? If so, are there adjustments to scoring to compensate their "at home" advantage?

They can, and there isn't, since they don't have any practical, mechanical advantage in particular.

Sort of. I'll make note in the Event Schedule that an Audience hour is held Early Afternoon each day. That was my bad.

I just assumed I was part of creating my gift. Didn't do any rolls for it because it would have happened before game. I imagine if yor family wanted you to create something for a gift you probably would have been given time and resources to make it perfect.
