"Jiyo-sama is most kind, as always." The Lion bows her head respectfully, body steady to support Misaki. "Perhaps we might speak tomorrow? On only a small matter, I assure you."

"Akodo-san, I would be delighted."

Since I have found the Lion to be a breath of fresh air this winter.

[Akodo Kawauso]

"It seems I have an escort, Jiyo-san. But thank you so much for the consideration."

A small bow, even as Kawauso moves to support her, whom she looks at afterwards, "I have medicinal herbs in my room, for the swelling and soreness, so the assistance is most appreciated in getting there."

"At whatever pace you wish, Misaki-san," the Lion offered quietly. "No rush at all." She smiles affectionately at the Crane's preparedness. "I am sorry for pushing so hard for you to participate."

[Akodo Kawauso]

"Akodo-san, I would be delighted."

Since I have found the Lion to be a breath of fresh air this winter.

"Excellent. I will, uh, send a note with good times," she smiles apologetically. "And look forward to the opportunity."

Nozomi was in attendance for this. Honestly, the mere thought of this was ... quite frankly a little amazing. Why? Well, because the Spider were hosting it, and the usually Dour Kuni was leading it. That was ... something to say the least. The fact that the Crab and Lion were coming out with such impressively eye-catching things?

She might have been taking notes. This wasn't normal heroism but she was tempted to call it something, and she wanted to share it for posterity.

The ringing of bells could be heard as Kuni approached the pair. He kept his face perfectly calm. He was not drowning in shame. He wasn't. He gives a slight bow to the pair. "Nozomi-san, Mayumi-san, it is good to see you. Thank you for coming." He seemed to be holding two packages.

After Kuni's... Interesting walk, Jiyo Phi quietly approached the Spider.

Being a child, she waited to be acknowledged.

"At whatever pace you wish, Misaki-san," the Lion offered quietly. "No rush at all." She smiles affectionately at the Crane's preparedness. "I am sorry for pushing so hard for you to participate."

As Sora walked over to the host, Misaki felt her weight slip more into Kawauso's arms as she grew a bit dizzy.

"Nonsense, I had fun. I simply wasn't prepared. That was only my fault, none of your own."

After Kuni's... Interesting walk, Jiyo Phi quietly approached the Spider.

She bowed low

"I wanted to thank you for arranging this event- it has been a lot of fun... and, ah..."

Phi bit her lip, then went for it

"Would you mind if I asked where you got the bells? I was thinking of braiding some into my hair..."

"I wanted to thank you for arranging this event- it has been a lot of fun... and, ah..."

Phi bit her lip, then went for it

"Would you mind if I asked where you got the bells? I was thinking of braiding some into my hair..."

Kuni gives a smile. He might have failed here, but it did warm his heart that the next generation is being inspired. "I am glad you enjoyed it. I have some extra bells I can send you if you like." The hair. THAT would have been a good idea. "If you tell me your parents' names, I can have a servant bring them to you tomorrow morning."

I am glad you had fun," Kawauso says, voice stern but soft, as she's so close to Misaki's ear. "I'll carry you if I need to, you know," she near-whispers, guessing the Crane would prefer that rather improper thought not be shared too widely.

Kawauso continues to talk quietly, half to herself and half to give something for Misaki to focus on if she's trying to stay awake. By the time they reach Misaki's room, it may be getting rather silly.

"I think I'm just panicking... that's all. It was such a shock, and it's been a... long day.

Misaki's hands and feet are tingly and cold, and her head feels like it's going to float away.

"Though... I doubt my health or stamina are... much better than... Makime-sama's."

"I would... do you think you would have time if I wrote to you with some ideas? For next time we do one of these?"

There's a little edge to Kawauso's voice, which might be from exertion carrying the other woman, and might have been something a lot longer running. she sighs a little. "Ah, that's not fair, she... sort of? let me help this morning? A little." Then there's a soft chuckle.

"Jiyo Sora? I remember your father. Well, we never met, but I remember seeing him on our travels down south." He considers her offer. Certainly, after his ideas, he couldn't say he couldn't use some different ideas. "Well, if your parents approve, I could teach you how to create your own designs while you share your ideas. This snow is not going anywhere soon, so I'll be in the city for a bit."

"I'll ask... well. Actually, Dad's right over there..."

Kuni notices him. So, worried about his disaster, he didn't notice a hero of the Empire was here. He nods to the girl. "If he has any questions, I'd be happy answer for him." He would have gone with her if he wasn't already with Nozomi and Mayumi.

"She does... not let you help her? That is... a surprise. She's not refused... my help with anything..."

Kawauso's face turns up, so Misaki won't see the reaction to that. "Hmm," she says as she thinks about how to respond. "Well, maybe you've brought out the best in her," Kawauso finally says, forcing a tone of optimism. "That could certainly be it," she says a little more warmly, smiling as she glances down at the Crane's face.
