Talk of the Town [EM, Day 5]

[Ryoshun Rei]

"The distance makes it difficult, but if there were a resource we could use." she nodded. "We have iron, but perhaps they could provide a different type or other ores."

[Kakita]

He nodded, “Something to inquire about.”

[Ryoshun Rei]

She nodded. "Other than terrorizing the Crane, how has your time here been?"

[Kakita]

He chuckled once… probably the first time he experienced a bit of mirth in days.

“It’s been well enough. Terrorizing is a time consuming endeavor though… I haven’t found much opportunity besides it. I do tend to make rounds between the dojo, the Shrine to Amaterasu, and the gardens. Stay in my rhythm.”

He turned it back on her, “How about you? Found a handsome young suitor yet?”

[Ryoshun Rei]

"No, but Hantie Kinsen-sama is likely looking for one for me as we speak." she laughed. "What court ladies are swooning over you?"

[Kakita]

He smiled and shook his head, “Very few have interest in a dead man.”

[Ryoshun Rei]

"I doubt that." she shook her head. "You are skilled, charming and attractive. There's much to like about you. I'm sure you've caught a few eyes. A dead girl knows."

[Kakita]

He bowed slightly, “You’re very kind. Perhaps it is my eyes that are not focused on such matters.”

[Ryoshun Rei]

"True. We often don't see much more than what we want to." she nodded. "Have you noticed anything else we should be concerned with?"

[Kakita]

“Concerned?” He tilted his head.

“I am intrigued by one individual… She is a cousin of yours. She is called Shosuro and claims to be the daughter of Bayushi.”

He paused, “She’s different than most people… something about her makes you want to forget her… but when you connect with her it becomes nearly impossible to forget what you saw.”

He finished, “There’s something different about her… something otherworldly.”

[Ryoshun Rei]

She cocked her head to one side, clearly curious. "I am unfamiliar with her. I'd like to meet her."

[Kakita]

“She is your cousin. I’m sure she’d be able to meet with you should you desire it.”
