Sweet and Sour (Day 9, LM)

[Doji Misaki]

Misaki had been blushing a little after saying poo; That had kind just come out in her immediate effort to not say "crap", which hadn't entirely succeeded. So she was thankful Phi had been quieted and the offer had come up.

"Oh, really?"

Misaki actually perked up.

"That would be a great help, actually. I have a lot of ideas and do a lot of research, reading, and tinkering. But I would hardly call myself organized."

[Jiyo Sora]

"Oh, Phi's your gal then, she's got plans for plans about planning..."

"No need to make it sound so boring, 'Yuki!"

"If you two are gonna fight, can I have your candy?"

"No!"
"Not a chance!"

"Aw..."

"Ahem. Yes, Doji-sama, I would be delighted to assist with that task."

[Doji Misaki]

"There is nothing boring about planning," Misaki said sternly to Shirayuki, "Or, perhaps I should say that planning is very important. I am sure your mother would say the same thing, in the large library project she and your father put together. As someone who crafts and builds things, the adage of 'measure twice cut once' also means planning out the item or structure first, and checking that twice or more before even measuring."

The stern effect was only slightly ruined by a bite of fluffy candy.

[Jiyo Sora]

Shirayuki sighed. "As I said, Phi's your gal."

"Don't let her fool you, Doji-sama, Shirayuki also makes plans. They're just... looser."

[Doji Misaki]

Another small sugary bit before Misaki nods, looking at Phi, "Very well. If you are able to help, I would be more than happy to have the help, as I said. Unfortunately, I won't be in the capital much longer here. And most of my scrolls and notes are back home anyways..."

[Jiyo Sora]

"Oh, we can correspond! I'll already be writing to Hosimu Kuni-sama with some fashion ideas, and I really should stay in touch with Kakita-sama, so..."

"My sister," Shirayuki noted dryly, "has filled her social calendar quite extensively."

[Doji Misaki]

"Ah, I see I see. That does sound like a plan then, Phi-san, as long as you're not too busy of course..."

[Jiyo Sora]

"I like being busy. Keeps me out of trouble."

"Pretty sure THAT'S not true, sister of mine..."

Shirayuki's grin was quite punchable.

[Doji Misaki]

"Now now, be nice to your siblings; Your getting closer to being an adult every day. As for you, Phi-san, at least remember to not overwork yourself and forget to take care of your own needs."

Little candy poof all gone, Misaki takes the cone and eats it in a few bites.

[Jiyo Sora]

"I will try, Doji-sama. You do the same, hm?"

[Doji Misaki]

"Hai, I will."

Standing up fully, she gave a small bow before giving a wry smile to Phi, "Oh, and look after your siblings as well, hm?"

This of course was easy for any of them to hear since she wasn't whispering or anything like that.

[Jiyo Sora]

"I always do."

"Even when we don't want her to."

" Especially then, 'Yuki."

"Aw, Phi..."

"Not my fault I take after Mom more than you two reprobates!"

"What's a reprobate?"

"I'll... Tell you later, Soryu."

[Doji Misaki]

Misaki shook her head with a small smile before bowing goodbye and making her way back towards the palace; It had been a nice distraction from her thoughts, and she'd found some unexpected help. She would have to thank Sora-sama later...
