If multiple Clans want to better relations (embassies, possibly open trade) would players all contribute to the same goal?

Also as an addition to this and a follow-up to my question on alliances; if one were to add another clan to a three-way alliance (as discussed in the PF), would that cost 6 for each "pair" of clans involved, or just 6 for "adding the clan" to the alliance? Assuming the clans involved all had neutral relations before that.

Now that players have gone into initiative, is there a way to use a social check to attempt to deter someone from joining without joining initiative yourself?

It's three points to move one Clan one step friendlier. It's 6 points to go from neutral to allies. It's a total of 12 to move two Clans from neutral to allies.
