The "Swamp Witch," who secretly hated that name, "acted" like she was alarmed as the heroes approached.

"What?! I mean... Curses! Their friendship powers are helping them find my lair, deep in the swamp. But I will set a cunning trap! To distract them all, as I escape with the princess!"

Looking to the Swamp Witch, she says, "You're already dead."

Cat Sasori fell to the ground as she played dead. "...nya..." Avenge me.

"No!" Kawauso cries, maybe finally seeming like an actual actor. She sinks to her knees, letting Princess Shu slide gently to the ground as the deflated looking Lions face turns from despair to rage. "My most loyal and powerful follower! I will avenge you -- with a curse! That in your moment of triumph, you too shall lose a thing you love!" It's a dramatic pronouncement, as Kawauso spreads her long arms out, fingers wide to encompass the princess and all her followers.

Then the witch grabs the body of her "fallen" cat and scuffles away, laughing wildly. She ducks behind the stage and heaves a sigh of relief, holding the tabby cat close to her thundering heart.
