In the perform bit, I assume a creature can only use each trick it's learned 1x (no repeating the same trick)?

That was the intent, yeah!

Or rather - you can perform the same trick a second time, but you will only get points for each trick once. You'll receive the points corresponding to your best rendition of the trick (i.e. most raises). So you can try to perform the same trick a second (or even third) time with more raises to try to get some additional points if you want to.
