"Thank you again Akane-san" Susumu bows as she goes to leave.

[Ryoshun Rei]

"That meeting was very enlightening." Rei said after the others had left.

[Hisomu Susumu]

"In which ways" Now in the relative privacy, Susumu takes a heavy belt of sake. "I'm curious about your conclusions Rei-san"

[Ryoshun Rei]

"I've been under the impression that my clan is at a disadvantage, due to our size." she answered. "But, the more I see of the other clans, the more comfortable I feel about our status. We are all facing challenges."

[Hisomu Susumu]

Susumu let out a sigh. "We all do. And we all have the tools to help each other fix it. I just did not think that we would get to a situation where one would agree to the core concept, make changes of their own and walk away."

[Ryoshun Rei]

"It isn't a simple thing." she said. "The core concept of assisting one another is easy enough to agree to at a glance. But, the details of what assistance means for each of us and how the others would contribute is far more complicated and will require consideration by our clan leaders. It will take time, but this was a good start."

[Hisomu Susumu]

"It's a start" He replies with a sigh. "But I wanted something a little more concrete if things go wrong right things go to pot soon."

[Ryoshun Rei]

"With winter set in, we'll likely have a season to discuss it further." She spoke with an encouraging tone. "It's hard to say with the Dragon, but traveling home will be difficult for my delegation and the Crab."

[Hisomu Susumu]

Susumu thinks for a moment. "Would it be easier to travel home with the Spider for the season? Until the weather clears and you could go home"

[Ryoshun Rei]

"I am not familiar with your lands. How badly are they impacted by winter?"

[Hisomu Susumu]

"Probably about as badly as yours, and the Dragon" Susumu admits "but with the benefit that we are closer"

[Ryoshun Rei]

"I will consider it." she nodded. "But, I wouldn't mind if we spent the season here."

[Hisomu Susumu]

"That would be ideal" Susumu allows "But I suppose that depends upon what they permit"

Susumu finishes his sake and starts to clear the table. "Thank you for your help and forthrightness Rei-san. Hopefully we will manage to make progress"

[Ryoshun Rei]

"I am sure we will." she bowed politely. "I hope the rest of your evening is peaceful and restful, Hisomu-san."
