Having been retrieved at length, Gusai raps lightly at the door frame.

"Please, enter."

"Hero--- ah, as patrons for the Order and each specific temple, you mean?"

"Un!" She says, waving for Gusai to join them.

[Otomo Gusai]

Gusai bows himself in. "Minna-sama, excuse my tardiness. I came as soon as I could."

He adjusts his eyepatch and seats himself.

"How may I assist?"

[Togashi Satsuki]

Satsuki bowed to the newcomer, though uncertain of who he was. She recalled seeing him in court and at various gatherings however. "Good morning. I'm Togashi Satsuki, daughter of Lord Togashi of the Dragon Clan and Lady Togashi Saruko of the Saru. Pleasure to meet you."

Gusai returns the bow. "Otomo Gusai, master of the Hopeful Endeavor. An honor."

[Hantei Kinsen]

The Lady of the Stag greets Gusai with a nod and offers him some tea. "Satsuki-chan and I..."

Kinsen stops, and looks at her asking, "May I address you by chosen name, my dear niece?"

She continues, "We were talking about creating temples nearby Stag lands and deciding who they should honor."

[Togashi Satsuki]

"Of course!" Phew! She preferred it that way. Less formal. More familiar. "We are family after all," she said with a warm smile.

Kinsen stops, and looks at her asking, "May I address you by chosen name, my dear niece?"

"Thank you," he says. "I imagine materials will need to be gathered and transported, correct?"

[Hantei Genji]

A loud yawn came from one of the rooms, soon followed by Genji exiting his room. Despite the yawn and early hour, he looked well dressed, his hair hanging around loosely, halfway between pretty boy and handsome man. Oh, and he was smiling. Of course.

"Ah, Satsu-chan, good morning. You look great." He smiled. "Gomenasai." He plopped down without a care. "What are we talking about?"

[Togashi Satsuki]

"Genji-kun, good morning." Her cousin got a cheerful smile and wave. And bow, because she remembered that was the right thing to do.

"Ah... I've been talking with your dear mother about our clans working together on a project to build some temples. Father has requested the construction of four temples for each cardinal direction around the Shinomen Mori, which means the southern and western temples would be closest to the Stag. Master Gusai just joined us."

Satsuki took another sip of her tea now that the conversation might be more for the three Stags that had joined in.

[Otomo Gusai]

A ridiculous gigantic grin opens up in Kinsen's face as her boy joins them for tea. She turns to him with a cup and tea, nearly forgetings she has guests.

"Good morning Genji-kun~ have you slept well? Come here and join your mother for some tea and breakfast." She taps twice on a cushion just at her left side.

[Hantei Genji]

Genji absently joined her mother.

"Hm, South and West, interesting Satsu-chan. Do we know a temple to whom exactly? "he picked up some snacks for breakfast. "And would it be a joint effort with joint resources?"

[Togashi Satsuki]

"I think it would be unfair to ask for cooperation with the other clans without contributing ourselves, so yeah, I'd say joint-resources." She said with a nod, holding back a chuckle at the mother-son interaction.

"Father has not specified the worship of the temples, only that they follow certain practices, which from my understanding would contribute to upholding this protection from the Shinomen Mori. Which is why we've also reached out to the Order of Heroes, as it could help them as well in gaining more foothold. Speaking with the Order of Heroes as well as the surroundings clans, yourself included, we hope to establish an agreement of sorts before bringing it to the honor Emperor for approval."

[Hantei Kinsen]

Despite Genji's attempt to pick snakcs for himself, Kinsen's maternal agility was so fast that she had prepared him a bowl of rice, another of misoshiro and a small fried fish plate that are deployed in front of him.

Then, she looks to Satsuki and smiles. "Satsuki-chan should come more often to have meals with us. I would be honored to host her. Hoping this plan goes through."

[Otomo Gusai]

Gusai nods to what Satsuki says.

We'll need details from all involved, of course, he thinks. But he says nothing, because his betters are present.

[Togashi Satsuki]

"I'd be honored to travel to the lands of the Stag someday," she said with a nod. "I hear the Seppun have a lot of knowledge on many esoteric topics too... but, first I must see to more immediate needs of my Clan. And after that, I hope I can travel the Empire more. Visit my family and see all the clans and how different things are!"

[Hantei Genji]

Genji nodded, and smiled as he took the food his mother prepared for him. "Arigatou, Mother."

Such a momma's boy.

"What those needs might be Satsu-chan?" He asked idly, his mind reeling at...things.

[Hantei Kinsen]

Seeing that guests are properly served after Genji, Kinsen waits patiently as Satsuki finishes her first tea in order to prepare the thinner tea portion.

She all smiles.

[Togashi Satsuki]

"Well, uh... this project! And representing mother and father here, yes!" Which wasn't the whole truth, but she couldn't go blabbing about it to everyone.

The light seemed to catch the crane tattooed on her collarbone, making its colors shift and gleam for a brief moment.

She really was pretty and endearing, and so sincere.
