(D5, LA) A breath of fresh air

But we came out of the forest to do that. I do not think I'd do so well as you have at returning." She offers a slow nod, and slower tilt of her head bringing a finger to her cheek. "Are the markings at thing of the Wu, or the forest?"

Ko looks down at the mention, her returning felt more like luck than it ever did doing well. Eyes dimming with the thought it brought to her. All of it, however, it all washes away and back to just how she was when the new question emerges. A smile forming, hand coming up to brush along the marking on her cheek, "Of the forest," she says, nodding.

"My mentor would do this. I began to copy him, but could not get it right. One day he showed me. It is a symbol, I think," she says, that brief smile rising again.
