I think an inheritor organization is far more likely.

At the same time, people who got to be daimyo in Part 1 got to shape their families somewhat. I expect the GM staff will allow Kolat founders similar leeway

I don't think Shirayuki spying on that meeting mattered at all one way or another. She hasn't really acted on what she saw there, and I assume Togashi knows a lot more than she does.

Removing Fu Leng from Jigoku and denying the realm of evil a major asset would not be outside the wants of the canon kolat. They would probably just have wanted him dead instead of rescued but you take what you can get.

The Dawn kolat are not really much of a conspiracy at any rate more a social club of people who don't like the kami but not enough to do anything about it and not really being all that secretive.

To be fair the canon kolat were a conspiracy for the sake of having a conspiracy most of the time, who vaguely wanted to topple 'heaven's influence' but retain the existing power structures that benefited them and not really change much of anything...basically a complete mess and personal annoyance of mine.

Of course to Ayano they are just some weird people her mom swears send messages through pottery arrangements.

Kozan/Koyama, who is in many ways the most "classic" Kolat... is the one who married a Kami out of love.

It's really a social club of people glad that Hantei, Akodo, Hida, and Doji lost the tournament. Shinjo, Shiba, and Togashi were all fine, Bayushi didn't really make much of an impression, Ryoshun was, well, dead, and Hisomu was locked up in Jigoku.

They're barely a conspiracy because they have so little to be conspiratorial about.

I would really like to see the negatives of Shiba's empire be emphasized. Admittedly this can be a future thing, but I would like to see something.
