Any faction actually break 20 yet?

Lion may be lucky enough to break 20! We currently have 16, I'm personally amazed and ashamed at myself

I panicked myself, disregard. Seems like every other lion is quite influential, just not me because of course work kept me from designing an event

Crane got 20+ as far as I recall.

I think it will, seems overly punitive to ding us for GM shenanigans.

Tsubaki last gained "list" Influence on Day 5. I'd like to think pre-Jigoku skin puppet earnings wouldn't be penalized...

I mean, let's say Sora had gotten eaten by a bear on Day 3... would his tally have been forfeit? Doesn't seem likely.

Revealing yourself to be a demon is one of the things that would lessen your status in court though

Honor losses carry an Influence hit too...

I know, because Sora's dirt-awful starting Honor is why he gained as much as he did- because being a Forest Killer, the most basic samurai behavior turned up large gains for him.

Genji has one (1) influence.

He holds it precious to his heart at night when going to sleep.

I have 7, 1 Gift + 2 Tao + 4 Event

I have no intention of getting any from the Snowball fight....heck I would argue it should subtract influence!

Agreed, but that seems GM planned.

I am all for consequences that we can control not being dinged for something that was planned or plotted early on outside most player's control. The Crane rep is shit right now, but that should be separate from the points earned since we already see in-game ramifications of that.

I would ask more directly on the Tsubaki thing. Cause from my read it's personal influence? So, the in-setting idea set of her using the influence she's accrued to help Clan goals wouldn't really be possible- cause she can't show up to cash that check.

Not aiming to argue the other way, just pointing out my thought on why it would be good to get a clarification!

Stag might get to 20 with some Crab help. Perhaps more if Iai event hits.

I have 6. I think the Dragon have a total of 14 or 15, so I was hoping for the last bit of influence from the music event.

Come on, everyone needs some music to relax with after this day!

Imps are sitting at 18. Think we might try to panhandle two from the Brotherhood...

Between Ayumu writing the Tao and Shiba setting the monks up as parallel samurai, think we can do some puppy dog eyes.
