Player Events

Soooo, I want to do every player event, but I feel weird about signing up pre-game for things happening on Game Day 6 or 8 or whatever.... by then my character could've been disgraced and banished, or gotten in a fight with Mirumoto Bob and not want to be seen at his event, or any number of other IC things could've happened. I understand there might be some events that have limited slots but I think it might make more sense for my character to IC want to go to Yasuki Alice's event because I made friends with her on Day 1, rather than deciding before the game starts.

Is this just me? Maybe I'm just weird.

Alternatively, is it a problem if I just show up at events on the game day the event actually occurs?

Yep. I'm assuming sign up is mostly needed for limited capacity space (Camellia House?) or where the organizer needs to set up brackets (sumo) types of things. I'm going to have a slowish starte and am also on vacation somewhere in there and haven't actually mapped that to Days yet. So, not really signing up for stuff at this point in things, myself.

Yeah, if an Event requires players to be signed up due to pairings or brackets, I'll chime in, but otherwise.... eh.... I'll look at it as it comes. I don't wanna spend all game just flitting between events, really.

For the record there really isn't a capacity limit for the Camellia House - well not one that would be hit by PCs at least.

Also, I've just mooted this over in the Imperial subforum, but as hosts, we might volunteer to have something scheduled that we know will be derailed by Plot. Like, a tour of the Imperial Gardens or something that's scheduled past the day we as players know we're not supposed to have any concrete plans

GM redactery shouldn't have much impact - it only combined the original D1 and D2.

Also anyone wanting to get the Imperial Consort to appear at their events through persuasion should co-ordinate PMs to this account and not the GMs, as I will be NPCing for them during the game.
