I believe the intent was that this is a player thread for planning and coordinating events. It is unlikely the GMs are following it and concerns about the mechanics inherent in the event system is outside of its scope. Thus, if one wants to bring those concerns to GM attention a new thread is better served.


As for the original intent of the thread if anyone wants to use the Camellia House for any events, influence or otherwise, please drop me a PM so we can make sure nothing conflicts or leads to time paradoxes.

So, for the Stag event/s, just to get it on the "official" roster:

As for Gusai’s event (Low Status). We have a new format agreed. It will be a Sumai Tournament (with an afterparty). I would consider Day 4 evening.

Stag will host a sumai tourney with afterparty, D4 EE-LE, presuming GMs approve.

Details to follow, of course, but this will be a god way to get a tradition started!

Well, yeah, with 5 days to go changing stuff is definitely probably not going to happen now - and asking or hoping that the GM team will do so doesn't make much sense, agreed there.

So let's just hope to keep the stress low I know I will.

Also, again - I'd like other folks to organise a fishing event (maybe even in a frozen river) and/or an animal training event. Don't plan on organising it alone, and I'd be happy to do it along with others from other clans. I'd hope for at least one or two more people to organise this along with me - or even more people if possible. Can you update the list with that when possible, Dojihime-san? (Or maybe do that after I'm approved as I'm still working on the BG to send it!)

Oooooh had missed that! Kotsume's more interested in actual rivers than ornamental ponds, I think, but that will do in a pinch

Just one thing - I'm not sure I'd classify the Ice Fishing event as 'Ki-rin' exactly. If Jiyo Sora helps organise it there are two factions involved, and I'm guessing/ hoping a certain Lion may be interested as well. I'd also welcome other organisers depending on how things go (I know that dillutes points quite a bit with the current rules, but I'm not particularly bothered by that, even if I end up without points )

While I think Ume will be more influential with 'Significant Artistic Achievement', I still plan on holding a showing. Day 8 in the EE sounds about right, since it'll be a showing of pieces from the time of the court.
