Satsuki had prepared the best she could for this. She recited the prayer that Nadare had taught her, that strengthened her willpower, and she was meditating afterwards in an attempt to center herself.

For now, the Dragon princess sat in the lotus position, eyes closed and currently at ease. The moon creeping every closer to the horizon...

[Saru Yatsufusa]

Yatsufusa was there as well, keeping an eye on the princess, but also making a meditating pose as he felt the moon rising. It was bringing memories of pain, of losing his leg and turning into his more feral version.

From afar it seems like he was normal, but a closer inspection, there was a hint of more, savagery on his features, even more delicate, but he keep his breathing normal. His training into the Void helping him in overcoming what was coming from Onnotangu-no-kami and Chikushudo.

[Jiyo Sora]

Sora, as sensitive to the moon as he was to Crane poetry, stood by in attendance.

[Doji Hikaru]

Holding a scrap of Crane poetry, and his white lock of hair glinting in the moonlight, Hikaru likewise stood in attendance.

His expression was serene as he looked at Satsuki and waited, but a careful observer could see the worry lines around his eyes.

[Wu Ko]

Ko was not too far from Satsuki, wherever Satsuki felt most comfortable with her being. Sitting as well in silent meditation. Ko doing so under the idea that it would aid Satsuki's own attempt to find peace in the moment and focus where she needs to if she was not alone in the process even if Ko did not undergo the same trial. Focus instead of being place inward as one would with standard meditation Ko uses the extra space for focus in the surrounding moment, to feel the shifts of what some might refer to as aura in the room.

[Saru Yatsufusa]

Finally overcoming his own 'demons' Yatsufusa could now focus completely on the princess. He stood up and got near her and Ko and waited for whatever would come. He was ready in helping her, with his powers, if he could.

[Nozomi]

Nozomi was among the others, her focus already attuned. She was not specifically sure what would be required of her tonight, but it was wise to be prepared for everything. Her senses extended outwards, aware of any movement within range around her person, the air within herself tightened to give her almost a tiny haze that made it hard to home in, should she be struck.

Nothing seemed immediately amiss. Satsuki glanced around those gathered until her eyes latched onto Hikaru, suddenly intense. Unsettlingly intense.

"... Let me see that paper again."

It didn't sounds like a request.

[Doji Hikaru]

Hikaru hesitated only a moment, his eyes widening. Satsuki's gaze was always intense, but there was something about this time...

Reaching into his kimono, he pulled out the paper. Another brief hesitation, and he held it up, unfolded so that she could properly see the characters. Even the strange ones.

No... especially the strange ones.

[Saru Yatsufusa]

For now Yatsufusa just observed, still very close to Ko. He was worried but for now it was better to let whatever to unfold.

[Jiyo Sora]

Sora... quietly loosened up.

In case he had to help tackle a fire-breathing madwoman.

[Wu Ko]

Ko, woken in a sense to the moment, looks to Satsuki with an appraising eye. Unfurling herself from her seat she turns herself to face Satsuki more directly and tilts her head with that questioning manner to herself. "Satsuki?" she doesn't so much as address her as call her name for attention.

"Is everything alright?" she asks, not warily but with some touch of concern. Worried with that tone that mothers were best at, despite not quite being one herself.

[Nozomi]

Nozomi said nothing, simply observing what was going on. She didn't understand the curse of Lord Moon well, but the fact that the girl suddenly made the demand, it had her more ... aware than she'd been that something might be going on. Her hands rested at her sides, brushing two old wooden friends. She hoped not to need them, but she wasn't likely to have been called here for her spiritual insight, but rather the exact same purpose as Sora.

[Togashi Satsuki]

She stared at it for a few moments, eyes nearly feverish in their growing intensity. Then she began to laugh. Loudly. Hysterically. Filling the room with the sound.

Then she suddenly stopped, like a door slamming shut, though her face remained split with a manic grin. "You think I don't know what this is? You think I don't know what you are, Messenger-san? We've met before, you know."

[Saru Yatsufusa]

Yatsufusa looked towards the Crane and then back to the Princess. He knew about her vision and now everything connected inside his mind. He prepared himself, since he promised to Satsuki that he will let her see what was this vision was all about, but he was extremely worried after his conversation with Shinsei.

He tries to calm his mind and think. Quick action will be the key and any distraction will blind him to the correct course of fate.

[Doji Hikaru]

She stared at it for a few moments, eyes nearly feverish in their growing intensity. Then she began to laugh. Loudly. Hysterically. Filling the room with the sound.

That was not what he had been expecting. Well... the laughter wasn't actually that unexpected. He'd heard her laugh before, but this was entirely different. Unsettling.

Hikaru's lips pressed firmly together. "What am I, then? And what does this say?" He held the paper out more firmly.

[Togashi Satsuki]

"Make me read it all you want! She messed with your words! 'Free me, free me!'" she laughed, nearly doubling over. "They can't flow from that page anymore! You're gonna be trapped forever~!" She sang it like a teasing child, then suddenly blew of plume of fire at the page, catching it aflame if he didn't move.

[Jiyo Sora]

Yep, there it is...

[Doji Hikaru]

I didn't know she could do that... The thought only had a moment to coalesce. "No!" Hikaru cluched the paper to his chest, diving to the ground. He would let himself burn before he would let the paper be damaged.

"Who?" He asked, his tone strained with desperation. "Who do you mean? Lady Doji? Or did someone mess with her? Please, I must know!" He looked up at Satsuki, his handsome features drawn and tight.

[Saru Yatsufusa]

Yatsufusa, still didn't want to intervene, he needed the maximum information. He was hearing about the back and forth between the Crane and the Princess and tried to memorize as much as he could before anything more extreme could happen that would entice them to intervene.
