Morning Matriarchs (Day 7, EM)

[Doji Misaki]

"Well I think it's one of the most wonderful things I've ever seen. Just like you, really. Which is why I heap praise on you so. Still, I should keep perspective in mind, hai. I get so caught up in things that I don't think as much about the political implications of what is done."

[Doji Tsubaki]

"Ah you flatter me, Doji-san. But always remember that what you create can be for the greater good of everyone... but still benefit the Crane first. There are many who would trade much for the fruits of your genius."

[Doji Misaki]

"I do understand that, hai. After all, even something limited in scope can have a ripple out effect anyways, like a stone in a hotspring."

[Doji Tsubaki]

"Indeed." She taps the water and watches the ripple spread between them, "A pebble can start a ripple, or an avalanche, it is all about the right place, time, and idea."

[Doji Misaki]

A nod, Misaki watching the ripples move towards her and lightly hit against her, looking up at Tsubaki again afterwards, "May I... well... sit closer to you, perhaps? If it is the right time and place, that is. Since... you mentioned such concepts."

[Doji Tsubaki]

Tsubaki stretches out languidly, "Of course, Doji-san, make yourself comfortable. I do not bite." Well, that was not entirely true.

[Doji Misaki]

Brightening up at the permission, the young woman walked over across the hot spring before taking a seat about a few meters away, sitting with a smile and looking at Tsubaki adoringly, "This is much better. I don't need to speak up so loudly anymore."

[Doji Tsubaki]

She chuckles, "Well we certainly don't want to strain that lovely voice."

[Doji Misaki]

That got a small nod, "I feel like I've been singing and talking much more here than normal. It's certainly been something. But there's just so much to sing and talk about, so many interesting people to get to know! I feel... I feel like a child in a sweets merchant, and I get to not only treat myself but share my own creations with others."

[Doji Tsubaki]

A nod and a warm smile that turns to a grin, "We'll make a proper courtier out of you yet at this rate."

[Doji Misaki]

"Oh? Would... Tsubaki-sama be a tutor then, in my time here? I would love the chance to... learn from you. Spend more time with you."

She blushed like the innocent young maiden that she was, even if her thoughts had taken some less than innocent turns with imagining alone time with the beautiful older woman.

[Doji Tsubaki]

She quirks an eyebrow, "I would be honored. I am sure there are many... lessons... I can help impart."

[Doji Misaki]

The blush deepened, but the smile stayed, "If those lessons were from Tsubaki-sama, then I am sure I would do my best to live up to her expectations. And put my all into them. And I have much I want to learn about; Everything about Tsubaki-sama..."

She bit her bottom lip; She wasn't great at or comfortable with innuendo. But Lady Tsubaki was a Lady, and it would not do to just come out and say she was beautiful and fascinating and made Misaki's mind spin.

Despite expectations Tsubaki was not necessarily that much of a lech, normally her wiles were simply for manipulation, but with such short time remaining why not indulge.

"Well I am more than happy to begin your lessons forthwith."

[Doji Misaki]

Misaki had no expectations as such certainly. She simply prodded to find out objections or resistance. Finding none was actually... surprising. The arched eyebrows and knowing smiles had surprised her as well, but to get this far...

"Tsubaki-sama is most kind, and I put myself in her care, when and how she wishes to teach me. I will listen to every word that passes her lips and not every technique she wishes to pass down."

[Doji Tsubaki]

Tsubaki draws nearer, the movements giving the slight impression of a predatory animal, had her eyes always been that green? Had her eyes ever been green? But surely that must just be a trick of the light....

"I suppose then we should make up for last time. How about a lesson in discretion... and the thrill of pushing its boundaries."

White teeth glint in her smile as she draws nearer still unless stopped.

Even were the predatory look not a trick of the imagination, Misaki has a... thing, for strong confident experienced women. And that would definitely fit that mould.

So it was she nodded and stood, giving herself up to Tsubaki for her first lesson.
