[Hantei Kinsen]

Kinsen takes a moment to refresh herself for the day, and make sure her skin would get that nice treatment before the wedding ceremony proper. Setting a towel near the rim of the exterior spring area, the Stag navigates slowly towards the very end: where the view of the river is nicer.

[Wu Zhe]

''Shu? Shu? Where are you?'' said an exasperated voice coming in the right. The young man was looking, with a degree of worry, around to spot his renegade panda.

At the same time a light 'splash' could be hear, followed by a bundle of wet red fur swimming around in circles in the spring

[Hantei Kinsen]

Kinsen looks to the cute furry animal with a wide grin. Unsure yet of what it actually is, but nevertheless amused it wasn't startled by humans, water and... her very presence.

She moves her eyes to the –– potentially –– naked man and closes them to nod in sign of recognition he's there, but doesn't interfere with the tutoring of his companion.

[Wu Zhe]

The young man was not quite naked as he was wearing a clean loincloth. Upon noticing the woman in the springs he bowed and mumbled an inaudible apology before finally spotting the cause of his woes.

''There you are, fiend!''

He entered the spring carefully but he swiftly grabbed the rambunctious red panda who growled it's discontentment for a good minute before calming down

[Hantei Kinsen]

With modesties covered, Kinsen raises her eyes to check the fiendish creature a bit better and can't help but to widen a grin. "How cute." She says, unable to contain the feeling.

[Wu Zhe]

Having ceased to wrestle with the animal, for now at least, the young man could relax for a moment and enjoy the spring.

''Please don't encourage him'' he replied with a sigh ''He uses that to his advantage to further his dark agenda''

[Hantei Kinsen]

Kinsen giggles and waves her hand, "That cute creature would never be able to pursue a dark agenda. Fortunes would never permit."

Raising both hands up, she agrees, "Yet, I will do as asked. No further encouragement from now on."

[Wu Zhe]

He nods slowly while cradling Shu to sooth him.

''Believe me this one is more then he appears...but thank you. I hope he was not bothering you in any way''

[Hantei Kinsen]

"Most good predators are." She grins, showiing a bit of teeth, and shakes a head, "He didn't bother me at all. How is he called?"

[Wu Zhe]

''Yes, predator.'' he eyed the beast, warily ''He is named Shu''

At that moment he realized he had not properly introduced himself.

''Oh...and I am Wu Zhe. A pleasure to meet you''

[Hantei Kinsen]

The Stag nods with a smile. "An honor to meet both of you, Wu-san and Shu-kun. "I am Hantei Kinsen. Please, treat me kindly."

[Wu Zhe]

Zhe cocked his head in confusion

''Treat you kindly?'' he paused narrowing his eyes ''I am not sure I understand''

[Hantei Kinsen]

Kinsen blinks for a moment, and then smiles, "Doji-kami-sama words. She instruct it is proper to remind others to treat us kindly, and let go of small mishaps or bad mood. It is more than just an honored to meet you. It is a gesture to be remembered, and that it will be reciprocal, even if left unsaid."

[Wu Zhe]

The confusion on the young man's face was seemingly increasing

''Erm...Okay.''

That's just weird

Not sure what question he could ask, he remained silent for a moment

''But why?''

[Hantei Kinsen]

Kinsen stares for a moment, trying to find the simple answer. She takes a deep breath, and says, with serenity, "To be polite."

[Wu Zhe]

''But is it not impolite to assume others will be unless they are reminded?'' he mused

[Hantei Kinsen]

“It is a gentle request. There’s no impoliteness about reminding others to be gentle.”

Kinsen raises an eyebrow and looks up to the darkening sky, “Unless one assumes they already know everything and should not be listening to other’s insights or requests.”

[Wu Zhe]

He frowned and began stroking Shu as mused

''Well...in this context you don't see your words as impolite and I do not think they were intended to be but...as a thought exercise...would it be possible to conceive that someone might see them as condescending?''

[Hantei Kinsen]

"Well, if one sees condescending intentions in one just trying to be genlte. I believe it does tell a lot of the one judging it so." Kinsen points out with a shrug and a grin.

[Wu Zhe]

''But somebody condescending to someone else might not be aware of it. Furthermore, someone coming from a different culture and background is not obviously at fault for misunderstanding.'' he retorted, fixing nothing in particuliar

''Also, someone asking someone to be gentle should do the same, right? If one of the interlocutor is irked by the comment then is it not the gentle way to recognize end remediate?''

He ruffled Shu's fur absentmindedly
