There's a tiny flicker of a smile across Kawauso's face, then she looks at Misaki somewhat intensely. "I'm not really... familiar... with having things made for me. Unless it's because I'm too tall for what's... normal. So, um. I am, very excited, about what you've done for me." She pauses, deeply thoughtful. "I don't... Misaki cleared her throat, "Well... as much as that might be nice, I would not be any fun, just lying here and recovering. If you had to ask me, I'd want you to head back with the others, show off the kimono and all the hard work that I put into it, and the hard work you put into showing it off. Besides, that way people won't have to worry about me, and you can think Jiyo-san for me for his assistance. "You have exquisite work here," the Lion says, brushing the back of her hand over the silk near her shoulder. "The finest garment in all of today's show," she says with a beaming smile. "I am so proud it's on me. And, if your wish is for me to go show off more, I absolutely will." Kawauso reaches out to gently touch Misaki's cheek with her hand. "I also will happily stay right here for you."
"Of course, Misaki-san," she agrees without protest. "There's a certain fun in me staying so that I know that no one needs to worry, but I will trust you to rest and be well." She rises on one elbow. The Lion gives a long exhale at sight of the gash, fighting back a frown of concern so she doesn't alarm Misaki. Even more gently than she had before, Kawauso reaches for the Crane's cheek. At this point she'd removed the cloth from her forehead. There was still a gash there from where it'd been bleeding, but that had stopped.

She takes a moment to ensure she's straightened and tightened what she needs to so her garments look stage ready again. Though conflicted about bothering Misaki, the tall woman has to look right, so she asks for a final approval before departing. "Is it all back... as it should be?"

I have to say this was one of the more...unexpected activities to go on today," she said with a rueful, bemused look on her face as she smiled and bowed. "And what is this? Dare I ask? She was visibly counting refusals. He'd offered now twice. No, one more time he got to offer and then she was to accept. "I appreciate that you put the effort into something fitting to our work and station, but it had to be a bit of an effort to get all the fabric together within the court. Silk is so much more common here is it not?" she said, managing a small smile and sighing. Her daughter watched the whole thing curiously.
