The audience hall is a large room built to allow all guests of a castle to gather together. The decor and furnishing, while spare, is elaborate where it is. The cushions for guests are fine silk, the painted screens are elaborate and uses the colors of the Emperor prominently. At the rear of the room is an elevated dais where the Emperor and his advisors generally sit, though it's sometimes used for other important focal events, such as weddings.
